There are many options available to “pimp your profile” these days. Now, you can make your own MySpace layout in any style you want. Whatever suits your personality is yours, just a few clicks away…. And best of all – it doesn’t cost you a penny!!!! (Unless you need a custom design but I’ll save that for another post).
MySpace.com is the #1 social networking site on the web, Facebook is making a run, but its still nowhere near the traffic that MySpace has. It seems “Facebook” is the buzz word right now but if you ask me seeing all that blue and gray on their site puts me to sleep! MySpace is king and its here to stay, sorry Facebook – good luck breaking into China though!. (UPDATE: I am being told that as of Oct. 2008 Facebook has overtaken Myspace in traffic 😛 )
One of the reasons MySpace is one of the leaders is that it offers easy customization of your profile and Myspace backgrounds with your favorite themes from a myspace layout maker. If you are like me and the millions of new registered MySpace users out there each month (6,379,000 in Sept. 2007 according to Nielsen/NetRatings – but whos counting!) you log into your “myspace profile” for the first time only to find a big ugly gray mess. Thats right exactly like Facebook looks – gray and blaaaaaah.
